Floor 1: Enter the Chalet into the foyer flanking the vintage lounge that features a 1960's sectional and a large Smart HDTV with streaming apps, a DVD player with surround sound, cable, and Apple TV. A sliding door in leads you to the back of the house where wood is stored. The "Gray Room" directly off the lounge has a full-size bed. A linen closet and "laundry room" are in the hallway next to the full bath with a standing shower (no tub) and plenty of towels - bath sheets, hand towels, washcloths, and soaps included. The "Green Room" has a queen bed and a flatscreen TV with a Samsung smart DVD player to stream apps. The "Pink Room" has two twin beds that may be pushed together to create a king bed (we have a king topper to make the conversion extra comfy) and a flatscreen TV with a ROKU player to stream apps. There is a blow-up twin bed in this room as well. Floor 2: The retro kitchen has views into the dining/great room to the back deck. It has a new Fisher-Paykel refrigerator, dishwasher and water dispenser on the bar (no need to bring your own bottled water). Small appliances include a 12 cup drip coffee maker, a Chemex for pour over enthusiasts, Breville smart toaster oven, blender, pour over gooseneck water/tea kettle, Cuisinart food processor - large and small - Kitchenaid standing mixer, waffle maker, slow cooker, vintage juicer and ice crusher along with plenty of new, heavy-duty pots and pans including cast iron fry pans and a Le Creuset dutch oven. There's a small kitchen table with seating for 2 plus the kitchen counter with bar seating for 4. The kitchen is also well-stocked with mixing bowls, cutlery, cooking utensils, both indoor and outdoor tableware, spices and other pantry essentials. Help yourself to all in stock. The kitchen, dining room and great room have wood floors and sliding doors that lead to the back deck with a stone fireplace in between the doors. The dining table seats 8 and has hosted many game nights, Thanksgiving feasts and Champagne brunches. There are tablecloths, linen napkins with rings and chargers for the table. Chose from any of the games by the sliding doors with even more in the console where the Onkyo stereo is stored. Enjoy the fireplace in the great room on the sofa, Moroccan poufs or rocking chairs while cozied under blankets while the musically inclined play the baby grand piano. Our home is the perfect place to invite friends and family and have the most amazing nature getaway. Our fully furnished, modern interior home is well equipped with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, newly renovated floors and kitchen, with with the comforts of home. The full acre property comes with large front and back yards, a newly sanded beach and large deck that overlooks the 277 acre private lake. LAKE NAOMI CLUB IS CLOSED TO RENTERS DURING THE SUMMER OF 2021 DUE TO COVID19) Guests will not be able to access the amenities of the community without a booking of 30 days or more. The amenities that will not be accessible include the pool, community center and boating equipment. This includes boating from our private beach as well. Fore more information on this, please do not hesitate to ask! Starting from July 1st through Labor Day weekend, we have a minimum 3 night stay. Our lake house can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. The house has one main deck on the second floor as well as a smaller, lower deck that extends from the three rooms located on the first floor. Each room is newly renovated with new carpets, beds, curtains, bathrooms, night stands and dressers. We have comfortable bedding in every room as well as extra bedding and blankets to keep cozy during the winter colds and chilly summer nights. The bathrooms are fully stocked with soap, bath and hand towels. It is important to let the hot water run for a few minutes since in the winter, the house can get very cold. The kitchen comes with a full dining set as well as other kitchen appliances such as a wine opener, many wooden spoons, spatulas, food processor, toaster and coffee maker. The kitchen also has views overlooking the lake and into the deck area. A convection oven, stove top, and dishwasher are also completely new and ready for use. Kitchen is also stocked with pots and pans and indoor table ware. The dining room area is located next to the kitchen for easy access for extra food or drinks. The new dining room table and chairs go perfectly with the interior of the home and brings a great, homey feeling. The dining table has 7 seats with 5 extra foldable chairs. There are also 4 seats located on the countertop next to the kitchen. There are placement mats for the dinner table. The living room has a large, modern style couch that can seat up to 5 people, as well as a coffee table and television. Next to the indoor fireplace are located several board games and playing cards for your enjoyment. The living room also offers a view of the lake and the surrounding trees that can be seen from the comfort of the couch. Extra seating are located within the living room area. The master bedroom is located on the second floor, with a large king bed and full bathroom with bathtub. The master bedroom also has extra pillows and blankets. There are 3 bedrooms with 2 twin beds in each room on the first floor. Each of these rooms has its own full bathroom and closet where extra blankets and pillows are located. Each room also has views into the back yard and lake. The back yard and private beach can be accessed from two of these three rooms since in one of these rooms, the balcony door does not open. The balcony that is located on the second floor has many chairs for extra and comfortable seating. There is a large table as well as a coffee table located on the balcony as well. Living room has a couch that can seat up to 5 people, two cushioned seats, television, fireplace and several card and board games for the enjoyment of our guests. OUTSIDE: The balcony area has up to 16 seats that are great for family and friend gatherings, one large table and one coffee table. A charcoal grill is also located on the balcony. The balcony has amazing views into the lake as well as into the back yard where many animals have been spotted including deer, wild turkey, squirrels, beavers and black bears. Our private, newly sanded beach can be accessed from both balconies. During your stay, please feel free to use our numerous beach chairs and 3 fishing poles on our private beach. It is extremely important that during the winter time, the temperature of the house does not drop below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. There are heating controls in every room of the house for this reason. If the house gets too cold, the water inside the main water lines will freeze and cause the pipes to burst, which can cause serious flooding. During the winter time, please do not walk on the lake when it is frozen. Even though it might seem like the lake is completely frozen over, there are areas on the lake that do not freeze and it can be extremely dangerous to walk on it. Ceiling fan in living room is not operational and just for esthetic purposes. Please do not make a fire pit on the beach with the rocks and wood on the property. This will result in taking the security deposit for damages to the beach. Seasonal Considerations - Lake ice begins to thaw in April - Tree leaves come in around mid-May - Blueberry shrubs along the lakeshore are ripe and ready to pick and eat in July. Please help yourselves to all the blueberries you’d like. - Autumn color begins around mid September and ends around the end of October. - Fauna Spotted. Take a seat on the beach, and soak in the morning sun and the peaceful views. The lake is still, sometimes steamy, and always beautiful. Watch the beautiful sun set on the lake at least once during your stay. In the summer or spring, day and evening times, take the kayaks out for a beautiful time on the water. Then return to our lake house for dessert while gazing at the clear sky and stars above. So when pool parking is full on busy days you can easily walk. The creek at the back of the property can be heard from all rooms, as well as the deck and we find it incredible relaxing. The large outdoor deck and private garden with fire-pit, grill, outdoor dining and lazing around options are great for hosting friends and family. We love morning coffee and cooking marshmallows at the firepit overlooking the creek. And as the days become cooler, the fire place creates a cozy living room. Our home is currently setup as 3 full bedrooms. It sleeps 8 comfortably with the following configuration: - Living Room: a bright and comfortable room with gas fireplace featuring one three-seater and one two-seater sofa and large leather armchair.
